The Rough Hollow Yacht Club offers a new dimension to boating enjoyment. Spend the morning relaxing by the resort-style pool and the afternoon having fun on the water. Lake Travis is one of the cleanest lakes in the U.S. and is ranked among the top three in the country for scuba diving and watersports.
Lake Travis is 65 linear miles of clear water, limestone cliffs, big skies, sunshine, and fun. There is abundant recreation for every member of the family: boating, cruising, water skiing, jet-skiing, sailing, parasailing, diving, fishing, golf, tennis, hiking, and more.
For many, Texas Hill Country means golf. At Rough Hollow, golfers have easy access to over eight courses, such as Falconhead Golf Club and Flintrock Falls Golf Course, to private golf clubs like Hills of Lakeway and Spanish Oaks. So go ahead and schedule an early tee time -- the greens are right next door.
The Lakeway World of Tennis, a private tennis facility, is located at the entrance to Rough Hollow with sixteen lighted courts, indoor climate-controlled courts for year-round play, clay courts and a stadium court. Join a family league or take on the neighbors. Take your game to the next level and engage in some serious competitive play, including USTA-sponsored leagues.
The Lakeway Airpark, designated 3R9 by the FAA, is located just outside Rough Hollow and is managed by Lakeway residents. It is a not-for-profit, public-use airport for residents and guests of the Lakeway area. The airport is an unmanned facility and is open from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week. Texaco self-serve 100LL fuel is available.
